Fireball Marigold

Many multi-colored blooms on the same plant. The fully double flowers start out a deep red, aging to a rusty orange, closing with a rich golden bronze. The cooler temperatures of spring, early summer and fall allow the most vivid contrast of colors. Grows 10-12 inches.

Germination: 7-10 days

Seed Planting Depth: Sow on surface, lightly cover seed

Starting Indoors:  Start indoors 4-8 weeks before the last frost. Provide 70-75ºF soil temperature. Transplant after the last frost, 8-12" apart. Water seedlings regularly until established. 

Sowing Outdoors: Starting a week or two before last date into mid summer. Sow a few seeds every 8-12". Sow close closer together in a row and when you thin out the seedlings you can transplant them to other places in the garden.
