Shipping Updates & What to Expect
We want to be upfront about something we’ve been seeing lately with USPS deliveries.
While USPS picks up packages from our warehouse every weekday, tracking updates aren’t always appearing right away. In some cases, orders may sit for a few days before the first scan shows up—even though they’ve already left our hands and are on their way.
We’re also seeing slower movement once packages enter the USPS system. Processing centers across the country are handling unusually high volumes, and some hubs are short-staffed, which has led to longer delivery times than usual. Occasionally, packages are even routed through the wrong distribution center before being redirected, adding extra days to transit. It’s frustrating—we know—and we wish we could speed things up once an order is in the mail stream.
What happens on our end
We do our best to get orders packed and out the door within 3–5 business days of receiving them (with the exception of pre-orders or live plants). Once your package leaves our warehouse, it’s officially in USPS’s care. We continue to use USPS because it allows us to keep our shipping costs reasonable, but their delivery timelines have become less predictable lately—especially for rural destinations.
Recent changes within the USPS system, including consolidated processing hubs and altered transportation schedules, have slowed mail movement nationwide. Unfortunately, those operational decisions are outside our control.
