Double Click Snow Puff Cosmos

A radiant new cosmos series highly sought after for cut flower arrangements. Fully double and semi double blooms are a huge hit at farmers markets and beautiful as a backdrop in a flower bed. Most are pure white, a few blushed with pink. Blooms slightly later than other cosmos. Grows up to 48”.

Germination: 7-10 days

Germination Temperature: Optimum soil temperatures 65-75ºF.

Seed Planting Depth: 1/8" deep

Starting Indoors: Start indoors 4-6 weeks before the last frost. Provide 65-75ºF soil temperature. Transplant after last frost,10-18" apart. Water seedlings regularly until established. 

Sowing Outdoors: Around last frost date when soil temperature reaches 65-70ºF. Sow a few seeds 3-6" apart, thinning out to 10-18" apart.

Light Needs: Full sun

Soil Needs: Poor to average, well drained, tolerates dry soil.

Approximate days to flower from seed: 75-90 days

Uses: Cut flowers, flower beds, containers, wildflower and cottage gardens, attracts butterflies and beneficials. 

Care: Water seedlings regularly until established. Deadheading prolongs flowering, staking tall plants helps keep them upright when the plant is full of blooms.
