A radiant new cosmo highly sought after for cut flower arrangements. Rich luxuriously colored frilly flowers of deep cranberry-pink. Blooms slightly later than other cosmos. A huge hit at farmers markets. Grows up to 48”.

PLANTING

Annual

Germination:  7-10 days

Seed Planting Depth:  1/8" deep

Starting Indoors:  Start indoors 4-6 weeks before the last frost. Provide 70-75 degree F soil temperature. Transplant into the garden after the last frost. Water seedlings regularly until established. 

Outside Sowing: Spring when soil temperatures reach 60-65 degrees. Sow a few seeds every 2-6", thinning out to 10-18" apart.

Spacing: 10-18" apart

Light Needs : Full sun

Soil Needs : Poor to average, well drained, tolerates dry soil

Approximate days to flower from seed:  75-90 days

Uses:  Cut flowers, flower beds, containers, wildflower and cottage gardens, attracts butterflies and  beneficials, 

Care:  Deadheading prolongs flowering, staking tall plants helps keep them upright when the plant is full of blooms.
