A radiant new cosmos series highly sought after for cut flower arrangements. Rich, cranberry pink, fully double and semi double blooms are a huge hit at farmers markets and beautiful as a backdrop in a flower bed. Blooms slightly later than other cosmos. Grows up to 48”.
Germination: 7-10 days
Seed Planting Depth: 1/8" deep
Starting Indoors: Start indoors 4-6 weeks before the last frost. Provide 70-75 degree F soil temperature. Transplant into the garden after the last frost. Water seedlings regularly until established.
Outside Sowing: Spring when soil temperatures reach 60-65 degrees. Sow a few seeds every 2-6", thinning out to 10-18" apart.

Spacing: 10-18" apart
Light Needs: Full sun
Soil Needs: Poor to average, well drained, tolerates dry soil
Approximate days to flower from seed: 75-90 days

Care: Deadheading prolongs flowering, staking tall plants helps keep them upright when the plant is full of blooms.

I'm at 105 days and just getting buds. Plants are vigorous -- perhaps it just didn't like Philly weather this summer or zinnia company? Will start earlier next year.
