Great. I get many catalogs every year, but I found more items I like in your catalog.
The Dazzling Blue Kale seed arrived mid-winter (S.W. Maine) I planted some of it around June 1st. I also spilled a bunch of the tiny, tiny seed; every one, both the planted and the spilled, germinated!! The little plants are growing furiously and the clumped ones from the spillage survived transplanting 100%. Have yet to taste test, but that's a no-brainer; it'll prove delicious. Can barely wait for next catalog.
Dazzling Blue Kale is very beautiful in the garden and would make an excellent addition to any flower garden because its tall blue leaves would be excellent as a backdrop. All the seeds I have ordered from Pinetree have been generous in number and very viable. Pinetree is an excellent company with which to do business.
Eh it didn’t do so well down here in warmer than Maine Tennessee. Compared to my other Kale varieties like Siberian, Red Russian and White Russian all were much more vigorous. I was kinda disappointed. Slow growth and buggy.
Our spring has been cold & wet. Your kale still awaits the rototiller's patient ground fluffing.
