Rue
A woody perennial with unusual grey-green leaves that are finely lobed and fluted. Rue may grow to 3 feet and is beautiful when used as an ornamental. Leaves are very aromatic and taste bitter; flowers are small and yellowish-green. Said to repel fleas and mosquitoes.
Take care when tending to the plant; the essential oil in the leaves, when exposed to sunlight, can cause skin reactions.
