Incredible trailing blossoms of blue, blurring to a soft lavender blue. The high impact colors will blanket your garden bed. Shock wave series rebound amazingly well from heavy rain, tolerate high heat and humidity. Deadheading is not required as the spent blossom drop off on their own. This powerhouse petunia is a heavy feeder so don’t forget to fertilize regularly. Flowers are 2”, slightly smaller than the Easy Wave series. Useful in baskets, window boxes and bedding. Spreads up to 36”.

Germination: 10-21 days

Seed Planting Depth: Sow on surface, needs light to germinate

Starting Indoors:  Start indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost. Provide 70-80ºF soil temperature. Transplant after the last frost, 12-28" apart. Water seedlings regularly until established. 

Sowing Outdoors: We do not recommend starting petunia seeds outdoors

Spacing: 12-18" apart

Light Needs:  Full sun 

Soil Needs:  Loose, rich, well drained

Approximate days to flower from seed: 90 days

Uses: Flower beds, containers, hanging baskets or window boxes 

Care:When grown in containers petunias need to be fertilize and watered regularly. This will keep the plants blooming all season long. During the heat of summer they will need to be watered a few times a week. When growing petunias in the ground amend the soil with compost before planting.  Apply liquid fertilzer every 1-2 weeks or use a time release fertilzer at planting time.

I recommend this product

These are my favorite new plant- looks like at least 3 different colors of purple as the blooms age. I have them in a window box on a lime green wall of my studio between purple shutters... Wish I could attach a pic! 3 plants have already filled the 24" box.

These petunias have such great color! Love them!

I love to grow petunias from seed and find them very easy to grow. The pelleted seed make it easy to space the seeds since they are SO tiny. By purchasing pelleted seeds it avoids all this problem. The gorgeous blue colors are SO pretty. I have gotten many compliments and have grown these before. This year I planted them in a lime green colNder which Aston my deck rptable all summer. Lovely!
