Dwarf Music Box Sunflower

This is truly dwarf with uniformly reduced proportions. Plants are multi-branching and grow only 40" tall. They bloom in a splendid range of yellows and creams and even mahogany bi-colors, all with brown centers. Very cute; try interplanting it with zinnias, or in front of tithonia. Introduced in 1992, this variety won a Fleuroselect Quality Award, and is suitable for beds, borders, children's gardens, window boxes, and of course, for cutting.

Dwarf Music Box

These are a sweet little sunflower. This summer I dealt with fungus, white fungus on cukes, etc. so was pleased that these came up. They did have eventually a fungus known with sunflowers but I’d order them again. Easy to plant - each a small round seed.

Lots of seeds never even sprouted

I was so excited when I ordered seeds this year in preparation for our first garden. However, I was certainly disappointed when after 6 weeks I still did not have my seeds. I realize of course that delays where to be expected due to COVID, but that was much longer than I had anticipated. I ordered from another company later on and had my seeds in 3 days. My seeds did arrive in time to get our garden in though. When we did plant, very few of the varieties we ordered actually grew. Unfortunately, most of the flowers I got and nearly half the vegetables had to be replanted. I’m not sure what went wrong. But I got other seeds from the grocery store and from another seed company and didn’t have any trouble with them growing.
