A native perennial wildflower found in arid areas of the western United States. This durable little zinnia thrives in rugged, extreme spots where strong winds and severe heat are common. A well mannered spreading ground cover that can adapt to the rocky, sandy soil in your yard too. Grows 4-8 inches, creating a carpet of sunny yellow flowers beginning in midsummer. Loved by pollinators and birds.  Zones 4-9

Germination: 10-30 days

Germination Temperature: Optimum soil temperatures 65-70ºF.

Seed Planting Depth: Sow on surface, lightly cover

Starting Indoors: 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Provide 65-70ºF soil temperature. Transplant around last frost, space 6-8" apart.

Sowing Outdoors:  Mid-spring into early summer and fall.
