Edible tendrils, leaflets, and flowers for salads. You can start harvesting the entire plants when they reach 6-8” tall, and/or let them continue growing for even more edible parts, pinching off the fresh and tender tips regularly. Parsley Pea can be grown in the garden, containers, or indoors. Produces snap peas as it matures.

Pisum sativum
Germination: 7-14 days
Germination Temperature: Optimum soil temperatures 50-75ºF. Planting in cooler soil results in slower germination.
Seed Sowing Depth: 1" deep
Sowing Indoors- Start in flats or containers. Grow next to a window or under grow lights.
Sowing Outdoors- Early spring until the last frost date when soil temperatures reach 50-75ºF. Sow 1-2" apart. Sow two months before the last frost date for smaller fall harvests.
How much does a packet plant: 12-15 foot single row
Harvest- Harvest the entire plant at 6-8" or cut off tips as it grows. Pick every day for a continuous harvest.
Tips- Adding inoculant with rhizobium bacteria will increase yields. Varieties with vine lengths over 3 feet require support.
