Shock wave series rebound amazingly well from heavy rain, tolerate high heat and humidity. Deadheading is not required as the spent blossom drop off on their own. Care:When grown in containers petunias need to be fertilize and watered regularly. This will keep the plants blooming all season long. During the heat of summer they will need to be watered a few times a week. When growing petunias in the ground amend the soil with compost before planting. Apply liquid fertilzer every 1-2 weeks or use a time release fertilzer at planting time.
