Pentas Not My 1st Choice Next Year

I ordered a whole bunch of seeds from Pinetree. All have done great EXCEPT my Pentas, all 3 colors, red, white & pink. I called the company & they cheerfully & promptly sent me new seeds. At least these germinated, but here it is July 5 & my best plant is maybe 1" tall. I have no idea why Pentas don't like me.
