Purple Sensation Allium
The striking dark lavender globes of the Purple Sensation Allium are 4-5” wide and are the smallest of the giant globe type of alliums we offer. Gladiator is next in size at 6-7”, with the enormous 8-10” Globemaster as the largest. Plant these in large bunches for a stunning early summer vertical accent in the garden. Beyond their beauty and elegant structure, the pollinators and beneficials love them. Great interplanted with other spring bulbs and perennials. They can be harvested for fresh or dried arrangements after they flower, or even when left standing for a time, they still add a visual element.
