Astro Arugula (Organic 32 Days)

Quick growth for clipping smooth leaf baby greens in 3 weeks, with a slightly mild flavor than other varieties, then maturing into a strapped leaf with deep lobes for bunching. Astro Arugula is slower bolting and has a strong ability to grow in colder temperatures for year-round harvest.

Germination: 3-7 days

Germination Temperature: Optimum soil temperatures 60-70ºF

Seed Sowing Depth: ¼ inch deep

Sowing Outdoors: Early spring through late summer and fall. Sow heavy seeded rows, 40-50 seeds per foot. Sow every 2-3 weeks for a continuous harvest. 

How much does a packet plant: 10-12 foot single row  

Harvest: Start cutting leaves at  2-4". 

Tips: Plant Astro Arugula in fertile, well drained soil. Work in compost or well rotted manure into your soil before planting if needed. Provide adequate, even moisture for the best growth. Use row cover to control flea beetles. When arugula bolts the flowers are edible and attract pollinators
