This strain of horseradish has very large and wide, rugged leaves. It grows a fleshy taproot that develops in cold weather and the best roots are harvested after several frosts. Resistance to rust and bacterial spot. Big Top Horseradsih is a great performer in the garden! Place this where you can let it establish fully as it will grow and provide you with horseradish for a lifetime. Zone 3-7.

PLANTING
Dig a hole twice the size of your root. Place in the hole at a 45-degree angle. The small end of the root should be about 6" deep. The large end should be just below the surface. Cover with compost and keep well watered.
