Gorgeous

Easy to grow. Fairly quick germination. The blooms are beautiful, the plant holds up well to high heat. It attracts hummingbirds like crazy a huge plus in my book!

Hummingbird Salvia

Every year I reserve space in my garden for these large salvias because the Hummers love them and they are a striking addition. Planted in a swath, these tall flowers explode just when the local juvenile Hummingbirds are searching for nectar.

Hummingbirds and butterflies love these

I started these indoors and set them out after last frost date. They started blooming in July and are still going strong at the end of September with little or no care after the first month. I love watching the hummingbirds and butterflies that are attracted to them. I hope they reseed themselves, but just in case I'm going to start more seeds next spring.
