Spigariello Liscia Greens (44 Days)

5 reviews

This green produces large, broad leaves which can be harvested continually from spring through much of the summer. It is a small heading broccoli so eventually it will produce a tight little head. The flavor is sweet and satisfying. This green will contribute to a whole seasons worth of salads and is delicious in combination with arugula.

Easy and So Good

So glad to find Pinetree and their spigariello seeds through a web search. We usually buy the plants at an organic plant sale, but it was canceled this year. Neither seeds nor plants locally available. Service and ongoing communications from Pinetree have been great, and we have a healthy, productive crop.

Spigariello Liscia Greens

I wouldn't call them tender, but they do put out a fair and steady amount of green munching long leaves that stand up against Slugs and make for healthy fresh greens in the cool season. I'm going to make them a regular part of my winter greens munching selection.

New favorite green

I planted this for the first time last summer and was delighted with the results. The leaves were tender, sweet and delicious. Relatives who don't like kale loved this green, both raw and cooked. It was such a huge success that I'm ordering more now.

Hands down family favorite

Everyone in my family LOVES this green. Seriously, my kids ask each year to make sure it is planted! We harvest the leaves continually as it grows year round in our garden. Outstanding flavor and very healthy plants over a very long growing season.
