PICOLINO CUCUMBER (F1 HYBRID 52 DAYS ORGANIC)

7

Germ 6-10 days
Mini English cucumber with tender, thin skin; and a crisp and sweet taste all from 4” fruits that can be grown in the garden or a green house. It will be hard not to eat all these little guys straight from the vine but with the high yields from the all-female flowers (parthenocarpic, fruits set without pollination) you will be inundated. Keep picking continuously for a long harvest. Resistant to: Mosaic Virus, Vein Yellows Virus, Powdery Mildew, Scab, Target Leaf Spot. 5 seeds

Indoors- Individual biodegradable peat/cowpots 1/2” deep, 3-4 weeks before last frost with soil temperature 70 degrees. Transplant after last frost without disturbing the roots

Outdoors- 1/2” deep after last frost in warm soil at least 70 degrees

Harvest- Pick daily to keep the harvest flowing.

Tips- Plant in fertile soil amended with compost. Mulch and keep well watered. Trellising the vines allows for good air circulation and takes less space than hills and provides shade for heat sensitive crops like lettuce.

All time best cucumber

As long as Picolino is available, I will never grow another variety. It's by far the best cucumber I've ever grown. Highly productive, no disease problems, and the cucumbers are tasty, thin-skinned and just plain great.

Lots of fruit- easy to grow

I've gotten a lot of fruit on these- early and they are still going strong. I have lost several and picked them very large and they are still good! I'll definitely grow these again.

Picolino Cucumbers

Overall purchase experience was great. Funny thing I Just planted the pocolino cukes today. I am trying it hydroponic so I hope it works out. I have seen on the internet that others have tried it that way in a home unit and had great success. I am starting in coco pots first then will transplant.

Picolino cucumber

Love these cucumbers. The first seeds did not come up and you sent replacements which did. They are great and continue to bear. Will plant next year as well. For just plain eating like cherry tomatoes - they are great.

Picolino Cucumber

First time to grow. Planted in a big pot side of fence. Excellent eating cucumber. Keeps right on bearing. Will plant next year as well if seed is available.
