Luna Red Hibiscus

The improved Luna Series hibiscus is hardy to USDA zone 5 and in cooler climates, they benefit from some light mulch in the winter. The distinctive trumpet-shaped blooms open to a width of 6" to 8". The 3 foot tall by 2 foot wide plants are beautiful single specimen plants, but are also bushy, making very effective borders and hedges. Though a bit pricey they will provide a remarkable experience each year with their many blooms.

Great price and 100% germination, what more do you need. Whenever I grow my own, I get my seeds from you. Thanks for the great quality year after year!

Hibiscus Luna Red

I purchased the five seeds; according the directions, I expected some difficulty in germination (it said they'd germinate in 10 to 30 days) but I stuck them in a plastic 'clamshell', in good seedling mix and in three days I had five seedlings. They are at least a foot tall now, and I can't wait for warmer weather so I can plant them out.

New favorite!

Excellent. Out of 5 Seeds, four germinated. Due to my error only two survived to grow into gorgeous bushes just a couple of months after germinating. I was SO excited that each plant had between 6-7 HUGE blooms. They were gorgeous. Even better, it is now late summer and there is a second bloom starting, and I have even more blossoms this time.
