There are a few ways to make HDP, different ratios, with or without lavender, not so much of this or more, or none of that, etc. I like this one very much. I bash a loose tablespoon or two up with my mortar and pestle and mix it with a fair amount of softened butter, salt & pepper... then rub it into and under the skin of a whole chicken. The chicken goes into any basic tabletop rotisserie , Cooking time according to poundage, etc. Results are delicious.
