We live in the Matanuska Valley in Alaska and are famous for our large vegetables. In the middle of the winter we have about 5 hours of daylight but in May and June it is closer to 20 hours. We also have root maggots that can attack our cabbage, broccoli, Romanescu and cauliflower from June into July. To prevent this we cover our plants with floating row cover. This works great but the weeds overgrow while the plants are covered. Last year I used this paper and it prevented the **** growth and my plants were wonderful. I highly recommend it.
