Silver Drop Eucalyptus
Native to Australia, this shrub is covered with small rounded silver-green leaves about the size of a silver dollar. Great for bouquets, wreaths fresh or dried. Plants can grow to 3 feet in height but are only hardy to about zone 9, so for most of you, pots will have to be brought indoors in the winter, or they can be started fresh each year. Silver Drop Eucalyptus produces an essential oil that is used for its antiseptic properties.
