Silver Drop Eucalyptus

1 review

Eucalyptus Gunnii

Native to Australia, this shrub is covered with small rounded silver-green leaves about the size of a silver dollar. Great for bouquets, wreaths fresh or dried. Plants can grow to 3 feet in height but are only hardy to about zone 9, so for most of you, pots will have to be brought indoors in the winter, or they can be started fresh each year. Produces an essential oil that is used for its antiseptic properties.

I recommend this product

I had no idea I could grow eucalyptus in my NC garden. Thank you so much for offering such a nice selection of herb seeds. Germination was better than I expected, so I had plants to share. The two in my garden are doing well. I'm excited to see how well the branches dry this fall.
