Bay Laurel

Dried leaves are used as a flavoring for soups and stocks. It is a tender perennial that can be grown in a container then be brought indoors after the season ends, where it makes a nice houseplant, often it is formed into topiary or grow it directly in the ground and harvest the leaves before the first frost. Full sun. Grows 3-12’.  Zones 8-11.   

Mushroom Plant

Fast growing bushy herb originating from New Guinea. Green glossy leaves have a mild mushroom flavor and texture similar to spinach. It can be tossed into salads or thrown into cooked dishes to add flavor, which increases when it is cooked, but should be put in at the last-minute to retain their bright green color. It is nutritious high in vitamins A & C, iron and beta-carotene, protein and rich in chlorophyll. Needs fertile soil in part sun. Grows to 24”. Tender perennial. Zone 9-11.

French Tarragon

This is the true French tarragon which cannot be grown from seed. Plant forms an upright mound of narrow leaves that have distinct sweet licorice-anise flavor. Full sun. Grows to 36”. Zone 5-9 

Stevia Sugar Love    

One must taste a leaf of this plant to truly believe its incredible sweetness. Makes a great sugar substitute, added fresh to salads and teas and you can also dry it for later use. This variety performs well in containers and puts out small white flowers. Full sun.Growing 10-12”. Zone 8-10
