3

Germ 6-10 days
This slicing type combines a full size 6-8” cuke with a short, 2 1/2-3 foot bushy plant and no runners. It forms a neat, attractive mound. Fruit are quite crispy and juicy with good flavor. 25 seeds

Indoors- Individual biodegradable peat/cowpots 1/2” deep, 3-4 weeks before last frost with soil temperature 70 degrees. Transplant after last frost without disturbing the roots

Outdoors- 1/2” deep after last frost in warm soil at least 70 degrees

Harvest- Pick daily to keep the harvest flowing.

Tips- Plant in fertile soil amended with compost. Mulch and keep well watered. Trellising the vines allows for good air circulation and takes less space than hills and provides shade for heat sensitive crops like lettuce.

Great taste and yield

We grew these last summer and were very pleased to have so many delicious cucumbers. We planted all the seeds at the beginning of June and all sprouted. We had 5-18 cukes per day between mid July and mid September. Some plants got infected with mold in August and were removed but the healthy ones kept producing.
