Ocimum basilicum minimum
A very refined globe-bush basil which we import from Italy. A quick grower which forms a neat, perfectly rounded, uniform bush. Very small, thin leaves on multi-branching stems distinguish this Ocimum minimum from the sweet basils (Ocimum basilicum), as does its particularly sweet fragrance and flavor. Useful as an ornamental as well as a culinary plant, this is interesting in containers or along borders and edges. Plants spaced 8" to 10" apart will form a continuous bulbous hedge while spacing 16" to 20" apart will allow each plant to form a distinct rounded globe. 100 seeds.
