Capture the savory taste of broccoli and asparagus in one plant. Entire plant is edible with extremely tender, long slender stems with asparagus like texture and florets that have a sweet, milder flavor with a slight peppery undertone. Performs well with little space in a spring or fall planting. Harvest the small 3-4” main stalk head first, smaller florets will continue for over a month. A hybrid of broccoli and Kai Lan -chinese broccoli, developed in the early 1990’s, it has gained popularity over the last 20 years. 30 seeds

Delicious and Easy to Grow

These were easy to germinate and grow. They lasted in the garden for a long time. They are delicious and our favorite way to prepare them was dicing them up leaves and all and roasting in the oven. the leaves got crisp and delicious and the stems and florets were delicious. Added into my plant every year set of veggies.

Wow!

I was not expecting much from this plant, and only planted it because my sister wanted to try it. Am I glad I did. This is soooo much better than plain broccoli! I use it in stir fries, steamed, or eaten raw. I will grow this instead of broccoli from now on. It tastes so much better!
