SHIPS MID MARCH THROUGH END OF APRIL
SORRY, WE CANNOT SEND SPRING TUBERS AND PLANTS TO ALASKA, HAWAII, AND FOREIGN COUNTRIES
Deciduous, woody shrub in the rosaceae family, (more like an apple than a berry). Mature height of 3-4 feet. Fruit is the size of a large blueberry ripening in September. Self pollinating. Full sun. Adaptable to any soil type. Zone 3-7.
Choose a well drained location in full sun for the 12" field grown plants. Prepare a hole twice the width and depth as the root ball. Place in hole and cover with equal parts of top soil and composted manure or garden compost. Make sure roots are at least 2" below surface. Water regularly until established and during extended dry spells.
