Dondo White Ageratum

Ageratum  houstonianum

A profusion of fuzzy flower clusters lasting all season, providing colorful accents when placed in a bedding garden or mixed containers. A great filler in bouquets, growing to have long, 2 ½ – 3 ‘ stems. Also known as Floss Flower. Easy to grow and deer resistant. Self seeds.

Germination:   5-10 days

Seed Planting Depth:  On surface, gently press into soil.

Starting Indoors/Outdoors:  Start indoors 6-10 weeks before last frost. Provide 70-75 degree soil temperature.

Height and Width:  30-36"

Spacing:Transplant  6-12" apart.

Light Needs :  Full sun, light shade in hot areas.

Soil Needs :  Average to rich, well drained.

Approximate days to flower from seed:  90-100 days

Uses:   Flower beds, cut flower, attracts beneficials.
