Heirloom pre-1896. Snow white roots are mild and firm. They remain crisp but are best harvested while still immature, the size of your little finger. The White Icicle Radish is a relative of the ‘Lady Finger’ from the 1890’s.

Germination Temperature: Optimum soil temperatures 60-75ºF.
Seed Sowing Depth: 1/2" deep
Sowing Outdoors: Starting in early spring. Sow 1/2-1" apart ,thin to 1-2" apart, soon after the seedlings emerge.

Harvest: 3-4 weeks after planting at 1” in diameter, pull them promptly as they rapidly decline, becoming tough and pithy
Tips: The White Icicle Radish needs rapid growth for optimum results. Provided fertile soil and consistent moisture. For a continuous harvest make successive plantings every 7-10 days when weather is still cool.
