Watermelon Radish (37 Days)
This large, white skinned radish with greenish shoulders has a bright red interior that looks like a watermelon when sliced. The flavor is mild and sweet. While it will grow to the size of a turnip, it is best eaten when smaller. The Watermelon Radish prefers a cooler climate, so plant this seed mid-summer for a late fall/early winter harvest.

Sowing Outdoors: Starting in early spring. Sow 1/2-1" apart ,thin to 1-2" apart, soon after the seedlings emerge.
