SHIPS MID MARCH THROUGH END OF APRIL
SORRY, WE CANNOT SEND TUBERS AND LIVE PLANTS TO ALASKA, HAWAII, AND FOREIGN COUNTRIES
'NIOBE' Beautiful 6”-8” wideflowers start out a very deep plum-red color and fade to a velvety red. Blooms June and July and often again in September. 6’-8’ tall.. Group 3 pruning. This group blooms on new wood in the summer and fall. This group simply requires the plant be cut down to about 12 inches in early spring preferably Feb-March. Sun to part shade. Z 4-8. (2 Year Dormant).
Plant in well drained soil amended with compost. Provide a trellis for upward growth. Roots like to be kept ‘cool’ and this is accomplished by placing stones at base, mulching or planting a ground cover around the base of the plant. But the most practical way is to simply not let the root system get dry and keep them well watered (but not standing water please).
