Both runners are great, baby arugula good.lettuce good.wild arugula 0 germ. along with all else. Bush beans okay but 50/50 bush/pole. All the beans have great flavor.Boiled not steamed 9 minutes ,drained and lightly buttered.
Black runner beans selected for flower color not bean. Pleased with flower result. Not many beans. Lettuce second planting coming along well. Super snap peas done with good yield. Potato grown in bag and all producing small to medium size. Lemon grass last of 3rd planting small but ready to plant outside Mexican mint. Plants coming to bloom sooner than previously experience. Sunflower love them. Good variety of types and appreciate the short stature easier to pick. The first blooms had very short stem, but that seems to be changing with subsequent blooms. Black Kim tomato first time variety for me. Seems to be more meaty than Cherokee. However the shape of the bottom is often dimpled in the bigger size. Given some to neighbors and have enough to supply the local Food Bank next week. Zucchini is doing just fine. One plant producing 2-3 fruits per week. Melon lilliput has first melon maturing looking great. Mouth already watering. Yard long beans were not as expected. The bean is barely a foot long and pink. After 3 weeks stopped producing. Other green variety (another vendor) is still producing as expected. Eggplant good year culturally so this plant is doing very well few seeds and great flavor if picked small. THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY GARDEN A SUCCESS
The beans germinated, took off up the supports and are blooming their little heads off. Now, we’re starting to see beans form. We look forward to interesting meals. Thanks for such great vegetable seeds! Frank & Rosemary Horstman
