LIVE TUBER

SHIPS MID MARCH THROUGH END OF APRIL

SORRY WE CANNOT SHIP POTATO TUBERS TO: AK, ID, HI, & CANADA

One of the earliest red potatoes with smooth, red pleasant skin and bright red flesh. May be harvested as ‘new’ potatoes. Plant closer together if small potatoes are desired. High yields and large tubers. Great roasted or boiled, nice for soups and pairs will with basil, chives, cilantro and bay leaves.

PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS:

Plant whole or cut into pieces (2-3) eyes each. Allow pieces to air dry for 24 hours. Place 6" apart in rows 3' apart. Cover tuber with soil. Continue to cover as the vines grow by hilling soil, leaves, straw, or compost over the tuber. Leave only small portions of the plant exposed to promote more potatoes.

MAINE CERTIFIED SEED POTATOES

All of our seed is Maine certified, foundation seed that has been field tested throughout the growing season. Samples from each field have been tested for potato virus. Two pounds of potatoes will plant approximately an 8' row, 12 sq feet, or 10 hills.

    I recommend this product

These potatoes look and taste great!

Don't worry about leaving one of these gorgeous globes behind in the dirt. They simply glow like red rubies with the most vibrant pink/red color as you dig. I believe there is a typo in the description above, however, as they do not have bright red flesh. The flesh is white. These will become a staple in my garden for sure!
