    Not pink

My first flower opened today and I was confused because its white. So I read thru the description again and realized they are multi colors . I wish at least one of the 3 photos above showed that. I thought these were all pink.

Easy and different look from the usual Dianthus

I had no problem germinating them outside in a container on my patio. I added some coarse sand to my seed starting mix. I’m in zone 10a (So CA), so I started them outside in January. They came up with no issues and have been blooming for a month or two. It’s early June now, and they are still blooming away. I do deadhead them to keep them going. I thought they wouldn’t be much different from ‘Rainbow Loveliness’, but I grow both, and much prefer ‘Dancing Geisha’. Dancing Geisha’s blooms are far more dramatic, and much larger. They really make a statement in a small bouquet, with their big, frilly, drooping blooms. I’m very pleased with my seeds from Pinetree. I think every single seed germinated. Try this one, you’ll love it!
