Snak Hero Pea (65 Days)
This recent All-America Selections winner produces 4” stringless pods that are straight and slender, resembling the appearance of a green bean. The Snak Hero Pea flavor however, is scrumptiously sweet with the juicy, crisp texture typical of snap peas. Vines are compact, reaching 18-24”, optimal for growing in patio containers or hanging baskets. Snak Hero Pea is succulent, and is excellent, raw or cooked, and holds up great in the freezer.

Germination: 7-14 days
Germination Temperature: Optimum soil temperatures 50-75ºF. Planting in cooler soil results in slower germination.
Seed Sowing Depth: 1" deep
Sowing Outdoors- Early spring until the last frost date when the soil temperature reaches 50-75ºF. Sow 1-2" apart. Sow two months before the last frost date for smaller fall harvests.
How much does a packet plant: 12-15 foot single row
Harvest- Pick every day for continuous harvest.
Tips- Adding inoculant with rhizobium bacteria will increase yields. Varieties with vine lengths over 3 feet require support.
