GOLD SEAL SPECIAL BURLEY TOBACCO

Availability: In stock

$2.50

SKU: TA101

An upright variety with abundant leaves, Gold Seal grows vigorously to heights in the 5 foot range and produces heavily. Leaves cure to a lovely golden hue. The tiny seeds are packaged in airtight bags and while the guaranteed minimum is 50 seeds, most packets contain well over a hundred. The seeds should be started indoors quite early in the spring and transplanted in the same way as eggplant, tomatoes, peppers, etc. Plants can grow to over 5 feet so each plant merits a couple square feet of space.

0% germination 2 years ina row Review by Susan
We have an excellent set up for seed germination with a mat controlling the temperature to the exact recommended degrees 24/7 and light on the seeding surface 14 hrs/day. I had another tobacco variety come up well, and grow very, very well and I have successfully grown this variety in years past.

Seeds from this variety, bought here, yielded not one single seedling over the past 2 seasons. I will not waste my time or money to try them again.
