  3. Peron Tomato

    PERON TOMATO (68 days)

Semi-determinate. This remarkable tomato was developed by Professor Abelardo Piovano of the National University of Argentina. Its less interesting other name is "Sprayless". Peron is thought to be the most naturally insect resistant tomato of all and thrives in areas where all tomatoes need to be sprayed against insects, without any chemical intervention. The 8 ounce red fruit have a solid, meaty interior and the skin comes off easily without emersion in boiling water. Flavor is mildly acid and Peron is a good keeper. 4. Tomatoberry Garden Tomato

    TOMATOBERRY GARDEN TOMATO

Indeterminate. The original tomato-berry was the third place finisher for the FRUIT LOGISTICA INNOVATION Award for 2008. One wonders what the two top finishers could have been. This improvement is bred for home gardeners and is unique. Fruit resemble large strawberries both for sweetness and appearance. It is great for eating right off the vine as is Sungold. Fruits are only about an inch across and notably heart shaped. Resists cracking and carries more sweet juice than most cherry tomatoes. 15 seeds. Learn More

  5. San Marzano La Padino Tomato

SAN MARZANO LA PADINO TOMATO (82 days)

Indeterminate. San Marzano has always been my favorite paste tomato despite its lack of disease resistance and this strain, imported from Italy, is particularly good. A vigorous vine carries large, lobed fruits, almost like elongated bell peppers. This strain has a pleasant and mild tomato flavor which we really like, with very low water content. Fruit has thick flesh and open seed cavities. Yields are very high. 35 seeds. Learn More

    GOLDEN SUNBURST TOMATO (64 days)

Indeterminate. I've always been a big golden tomato fan - the only tomatoes I really remember from my father's garden were the yellow pears. Golden Sunburst is a nice compromise for size, earliness, and color. A small slicer, quite early and a premium yielder. Flavor is pleasant - a bit acid as with most yellow tomatoes. Will provide dozens, maybe hundreds of 3 inch fruit. 25 seeds. Learn More

  10. Gardener's Delight Tomato

    GARDENERS DELIGHT TOMATO (67 days)

The 1 to 1 1/2 inch dark cherry red fruits have a delightful sweetness, a classic summer flavor. They resist cracking very well and are produced in abundance. The German grower, Ernst Benary, has gradually evolved into a flower seed company; this is the only vegetable seed they continue to produce--because it is so popular. 25 seeds. Learn More

  11. Gold Nugget Tomato

    GOLD NUGGET TOMATO (55 days)
