Sweet Potatoes

Sweet potato plants are shipped to you directly from our grower. The plants may appear wilted and some leaves may have turned yellow by the time they arrive at your home, but this is normal for something that has spent a few days in a box, out of its growing environment. The sphagnum moss that has been placed around the roots will be dry, as the sweet potato plants will have absorbed all the moisture from the moss during their trip. As long as the stem of the plant is still green, the plant is still viable. Plant the roots in warm soil and water sufficiently, and they will green back up in no time.
