The key to avoid rampant destruction by Japanese beetles is to get them at the larvae stage of their life cycle under ground, before they begin to immerge as adults in early June. Milky Spore is not a chemical pesticide, but simply spores of beetle grubs that will spread when Japanese beetle grubs are present in the soil. Infected beetle larvae will die and decay releasing billions of new spores into the soil continuing the cycle until no Japanese beetles remain. One application can remain viable in the soil for many years. Resistant to weather conditions and wont be affected by fertilizers or harm food crops, humans, pets, fish, bees, birds or other animals. A 10 oz can will treat 2000 sq. ft. and has no expiration date if kept sealed and dry.

It works. Get it! Review by CARLA
I think it was over 10 years ago now that I applied this to my lawn. One can. It was, for me, at the time an investment and more money than I wanted to spend, but I am so grateful I did it! I have friends telling me about their gardens and roses being chewed up by the beetles and I have had a few, but not too many and the count has been low for years now. If only my neighbors would spread this I think I would have no beetles at all! REALLY WORKS. It ought to be a public service to put this on everyones lawns and eradicate those dang things! GET SOME. You won't be sorry...and get some for your neighbor for Christmas! (Posted on 9/18/14)
